The 2022 Reserve Chardonnay offers a bright golden color and aromas of ripe golden apple, peach, and baking spices. Across the full-bodied palate, concentrated flavors of ripe orchard and peach fruit harmonize with notes of melon, pear, and cream. Balanced and fresh, the long finish is driven by hints of apple and toasted oak.

The Reserve Chardonnay comes exclusively from our estate-owned vineyards in
the Carneros appellation of Napa Valley. Located at the southern edge of the
valley, close to the San Pablo Bay, Carneros’ cool climate and gently rolling
landscape provides a pristine environment for Chardonnay. Four special sites
behind the Reserve Chardonnay are farmed specifically to create opulent,
flavorful, and long-lived Chardonnay wines.
The 2022 growing season was mild and consistent, with summer days characterized by moderate heat and steady ripening. Drought conditions persisted across Napa Valley, which allowed vines to naturally control their vigor and yields – resulting in concentrated flavors and aromas.
