The Perfect Pair: Wine & Food Tasting

At Cakebread Cellars, every wine is crafted with food in mind. This experience begins in our winery garden and comes to life at the table, where seasonal small plates are thoughtfully paired with wines designed to complement and elevate each dish. Each bite reflects the connection between what’s grown, what’s cooked, and what’s poured.

This experience features a set seasonal menu; substitutions cannot be made based on preferences. Please inform us of any food allergies 48 hours in advance so we can accommodate to the best of our ability.

Cakebread Classic Tasting

Shared tasting | 90 minutes

Go behind the scenes at the winery with a guided walking tour that brings you closer to how our wines are grown and made. Stroll through the property with a glass in hand, stopping along the way to sip, explore, and connect.

Courtyard Tasting

Settle into our courtyard for a seated tasting that showcases the Cakebread Cellars portfolio. With its vibrant setting and easy, open-air feel, the space is designed for lingering over each pour, with a snack menu available to complement the experience.

Reserve Library Tasting

Step further into the story of Cakebread Cellars with a tasting that highlights both current and library vintages side by side. Paired with seasonal bites, each pour reveals how our wines evolve over time, offering a rich sense of place and history, and the inspiration behind every vintage. The experience concludes with a brief tour of the winery.

Family Tasting

Shared tasting | 60 minutes

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Cakebread Cellars in a welcoming, family-friendly setting. As adults sip, younger guests can stroll alongside, listening, and learning. It’s a relaxed, shared way to explore the winery and create lasting memories across generations.

Chardonnay Tasting

Shared tasting | 90 minutes

Chardonnay has been central to our story since our first vintage in 1973. Explore distinct expressions of the grape in both style and vintage, each reflecting our Carneros vineyards and a unique point of view. This experience offers a focused look at how style, place, and time come together in each Chardonnay and concludes with a brief tour of the winery.

Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting

Shared tasting | 90 minutes

Cabernet Sauvignon has been a defining part of Cakebread Cellars since 1974. This tasting features both current release and library wines from our most distinctive vineyard sites, paired with a curated cheese accompaniment. Explore how each site’s terroir and time in the cellar shapes the character, structure, and perspective in every glass. The experience concludes with a brief tour of the winery.

Wine Club Lounge

Enjoy time together with friends & family surrounded by our winery garden as you sip Cakebread Cellars wines with your inner circle.

Wine Club Members enjoy priority access to the Wine Club Lounge, a refreshed space designed with a warm, inviting atmosphere, and a snack menu available to complement the experience.

Featuring indoor and outdoor seating for parties of up to six guests, the lounge is open from 10:00am until 3:00pm, Thursday through Monday by prior reservation.

Experiences host up to 8 guests except the courtyard tasting which hosts up to a maximum of 6 guests.
