At Cakebread Cellars, we believe that those who cook together, stay together. After all, we’ve been cooking together since 1973, and we’re still in love with what we do. We invite you and that special someone to join us in the Winery House Kitchen to prepare a decadent selection of recipes. When the aprons come off, gather around the fireplace for a splash of Cakebread Cellars wine with appetizers before sitting down to a romantic three-course lunch with wine pairings. MENU ~ To Start ~ Hog Island Oysters with Cucumber & Ginger Mignonette · Smashed Potatoes with Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam & Pickled Mushrooms · Tuna Tartare on Taro Chips ~ At the Table ~ Lobster Salad with Mango, Avocado & Honey-Lime Vinaigrette · Andouille Crusted Filet Mignon with Garlic Sauce · Bittersweet Chocolate Soufflé with Chai Crème Anglaise ~ All classes are participation style and include the class, a tour of the winery and culinary gardens (weather permitting), an appetizer reception and a three-course lunch paired with Cakebread Cellars wines. All participants leave with a Cakebread Cellars apron, a booklet of recipes and wine notes from the day, some great memories and quite often, new friends.
