Chinese New Year is a celebration of Spring that includes ceremonies to wish for a good harvest. At Cakebread Cellars, we're ushering in the Year of the Ox with the flavors of Asia. All month long, our Perfect Pair: Wine and Food experience will include Chinese bites designed by our resident winery chefs to pair with Cakebread Cellars wines.
And on Friday, February 12, their Cooking with Cakebread virtual culinary class will feature two special Chinese recipes: Shrimp Su Mai paired with our Cuttings Wharf Chardonnay, and Steamed Bao Buns with BBQ Pork paired with our Merlot. If you visit the winery on February 12, you just might get a taste of both!
