About This Event
Join us in the Winery House kitchen as we discover the beauty of fresh, authentic Italian pastas and sauces made the old fashioned way – from scratch. Together we will knead and roll the pasta dough, then cut, shape and fill the pastas before pairing them with traditional, seasonal and succulent sauces. At the table, we’ll pair each with Cakebread Cellars wines to bring out the beauty in every bite. ~ MENU ~ To Start ~ Fried Olives stuffed with Spicy Calabrese Sausage · Crostini with Beef Carpacccio & Shaved Artichokes ~ At the Table ~ Tortelloni with Parmesan Broth & Spring Peas · Corzetti Stampati with Fava Bean Pesto · Tonnarelli “Chittara” with Oxtail Ragu · Cannoli stuffed with Ricotta, Apricots, Pistachio & Wild Flower Honey ~ All classes are participation style and include the class, a tour of the winery and culinary gardens (weather permitting), an appetizer reception and a three-course lunch paired with Cakebread Cellars wines. All participants leave with a Cakebread Cellars apron, a booklet of recipes and wine notes from the day, some great memories and quite often, new friends.
