The Cakebread Cellars’ Winter Comfort Experience includes a flight of four of our celebrated Chardonnays, including a library vintage! The 2013 Napa Valley Chardonnay, 2019 Napa Valley Chardonnay, 2018 Cuttings Wharf Chardonnay and 2017 Chardonnay Reserve are paired with a hot gourmet soup and hot sandwich designed by our resident chefs, with an ever-changing menu driven by seasonal ingredients sourced from our ¾ acre culinary garden.
Currently on the menu is a steamy estate Pumpkin Chestnut Soup served with a gourmet twist on the Grilled Cheese Sandwich: Toasted Levain Bread with local Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co. Toma, house-made Pickled Golden Beet Slaw & Whole Grain Mustard.
Each guest will receive a cozy Cakebread Cellars blanket to snuggle up with and take home.
From January – March, Cakebread Cellars’ Winter Comfort experience will last approximately one hour and will be offered Friday through Monday at 1pm and 3pm.
