An opportunity for club members to join us at our Dancing Bear Ranch property 1500 feet up the slopes of Howell Mountain. We’ll cook together, then enjoy lunch on the deck overlooking Napa Valley.
Starters will include Alsatian onion and bacon tart, crostini with Tuscan style chicken liver pate, and red wine-steamed mussels with chorizo. Then we’ll sit down to a lunch of smoked trout with endive, sweet peas, fennel and horseradish crème fraîche, and New York strip steak with celery and blue cheese relish, all enjoyed with a selection of Cakebread wines, including the incomparable Dancing Bear Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon. To finish, matcha shortbread cookies with chocolate sorbet.
All classes are participation style and include a tour of the property, a tasting of Cakebread Cellars wines (except for the children’s classes), the cooking class and a three-course lunch paired with wine. All participants leave with a Cakebread Cellars logo apron, a booklet of the recipes and wine notes from the day, some great memories and quite often, new friends.
