For 2018, we return to one of America’s best golf resorts, The American Club in Kohler, WI where we will play both Whistling Straits and The River at Blackwolf Run. Both these Pete Dye designed courses located along Lake Michigan and the Sheboygan River are rated 4th and 15th respectfully in the Top 100 public courses in America by Golf Digest. Additionally, we will be staying at a Forbes 5-star and AAA 5-diamond rated resort where the amenities and dining will surely make this a memorable experience.
Start the event with a Sip n’ Swing Reception on Wednesday, May 30 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Whistling Straits driving range. Enjoy Cakebread Cellars wine and hors d’oeuvre reception while learning from the pros on how to improve your driving and putting with the latest TaylorMade® clubs.
Thursday, May 31 will be a shotgun start at 7:00am for the Cakebread Cellars Cup Tournament playing the 2020 PGA Ryder Cup course Whistling Straits along the shore of Lake Michigan. After golf, an outdoor buffet luncheon with Cakebread wines. You will then have time to unwind at the resort before joining us for a Vintner Dinner hosted by Dennis Cakebread and an awards presentation from the day’s golf match.
Friday, June 1 will feature a shotgun start of 8:00am as we wind along the Sheboygen River playing the River Course at Blackwolf Run. Although there will be no prizes for the best score, bragging rights are still in play. A casual lunch will be served to end the event.
