Lise earned a masters in Environmental Horticulture with a specialization in viticulture from the University of California at Davis. Before joining Cakebread Cellars she held long-term positions in grower operations at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery and Geyser Peak Winery, and served as CEO of VinSense, a software company that helps vineyards improve quality, sustainability and efficiency.
She jumped at the chance to work with the Cakebread family. “They fully understand that creating exceptional wine starts in the vineyard,” says Lise. “Every decision they make is focused on wine quality.”
