A tight, citrusy sauvignon, this opens to tart yellow cherry flavors as the fruit lengthens into the finish. It has a floral note of wild flower honey that recalls the sunniness of Napa valley. Clean and refreshing.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has unveiled the winning wines selected during the 2012 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition.
The ninth annual wine competition judging took place Nov. 12-13 at Reliant Center. Nearly 2,500 wines from 736 wineries worldwide were awarded 1,817 medals by 18 panels of judges, consisting of local, national and international wine experts.
This beautiful wine will be featured at the Roundup and Best Bites Competition on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Reliant Center, Houston, TX.
The judges have awarded our lovely 2010 Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley a "Reserve Champion" aka Double Gold Medal.

January 2012, found 21 judges tasting over 800 wines from 12 countries in the third International Winemaker Challenge held in San Diego, CA. Cakebread Cellars' 2010 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded the Silver medal.

The 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition has grown by leaps and bounds since its founding in 1983. The 2012 event was just held in January with over 4,900 wines entered and 60 prestigious experts as judges. Our 2010 Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley was awarded a silver medal.

The 2011 San Francisco International Wine Competition has just announced their awards. Our 2010 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded the Bronze medal.
