The 13th annual Jefferson Cup Invitational Competition was just held November 18, 2012, and the judges have announced our 2010 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley was awarded a Medal of American Excellence (equivilant to a gold medal) from the Jefferson Cup group of tasting professionals. The Jefferson Cup is a different sort of wine competition, in that it is an invitational in which over seven hundred wines are pre-selected which exemplify viticulture and wine making in America.

Over 900 wines were judged and the delicious Cakebread Cellars 2010 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley was awarded a gold medal in the 2012 Grand Harvest Awards held November 2012.
