Napa Valley

August, 2004
well-ripened and well-focused, the currant aromas of this
solid Cabernet are decked out in rich, creamy oak and layered
notes of cola and sweet loam. Supple and slightly fleshy in
the feel at entry, then filling the palate with flavors of
ripe currants, caramel and a rich, loamy nuance, the winetranscends
vintage concerns and is satisfying from front to back. It
will improve for three to five years at the least and should
hold up for a decade or more of rewarding drinking.
Connoiseurs Guide gave this wine a score of 90 points.
