Napa Valley

April 2003
Consistently one of the most popular chardonnays as reported in
the W&S Annual Restaurant Poll, Cakebread's latest release
shows smooth and fresh. The wine packs tight layers of pineapple,
toffee, richness of oak, lees scents of grissini, all brightened
by the acidity. Dense, yet buoyant, this should develop well over
the next year.
Wine & Spirits gave this wine a score of 90 points.
