A generous measure of sweet, slightly caramelly
oak sits atop nicely defined, ripe-apple, fruit in the ample
aromas of this very solid effort, and the wine's continuous
flavors show no let up in either fruit or oaky richness. The
wine is fairly full in body and shows a few coarse edges towards
the finish, but service with the richer foods it seems designed
to accompany will make moot its minoe roughness.
