Miso Grilled Flatiron Steak

Here's a tasty dish to pair with our new Guajolote red wine.


Ingredients

4 T. white miso
1 T. sake
1 T. mirin
1 tsp. gresh ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic, grated

2 lbs. flat iron steak


Preparation

Combine ingredients together for the marinade in a small stainless steel bowl. Whisk together to blend. Place the flat iron steak in a shallow pan. Rub the marinade into both sides of the meat and refrigerate for an hour.

Allow the meat to come to room temperature. Grill over high heat on both sides for approximately 5 minutes a side to medium rare or desired doneness. Allow to rest for a couple minutes and slice against the grain into ½ inch thick slices.
