Join our winemaker Julianne Laks and viticulturist Toby Halkovich as they lead our Taste of the Vintage. We are excited to announce a new venue for this event, the beautiful Rudd Center located at the Culinary Institute in St. Helena. We will take advantage of Julianne's 25 years of experience, as well as Toby's 10 years of grape growing experience in order to dissect the nuances of the 2013 vintage.
Together we will taste barrel samples of wines, discuss how Mother Nature impacted the development of the grapes, and learn about the winemaking process. You will enjoy a thorough technical presentation and tasting of 10 white wines and 10 red wines with the purpose of studying the profile of individual lots, specific clonal selections and appellation characteristics.
As is our tradition after the tasting, we will return to the winery where resident chefs Brian Streeter and Thomas Sixsmith will serve up a fabulous lunch along with special selections from our cellar.
