Please join us in celebrating the newest release of our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley and, as an added treat, we are featuring library vintages of our Reserves from 2003, 2004, and 2006.
New this year for Cabernet Day, our culinary team will prepare some tasty bites of food as well as a selection of artisanal cheeses for you to enjoy as you meander through the winery to sample our Cabernet Sauvignons.

Chef Bo is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and has held various chef positions across the country. We’ll begin our Eighth Annual Cakebread Cellars Golf Tournament at 7am with a shotgun start at the unforgettable Pebble Beach Links course located just located 10 minutes from the Inn. We will play with handicapped-adjusted teams of four. Whether you have your own foursome or allow us to assemble one for you, our goal is to have fun and enjoy playing 18 holes at the “Greatest Public Golf Course in America.” Each foursome will enjoy the pleasure of having two caddies to add to your experience. After your round of golf at Pebble Beach Links draws to a close, the entire group will gather to for an ice cold beverage at the Tap Room courtesy of Cakebread Cellars.
At 7:00 pm, Dennis Cakebread will host a reception & vintner dinner in the Troon Banquet room located at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Executive Chef, Rodney Uncangco will prepare a beautifully paired 4-course dinner paired with Cakebread Cellars wines, including reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. During the course of evening together, we will celebrate our fun day of golf with some special awards to highlight the day’s events.
