Our talented chefs have created a menu full of inventive appetizers to get you through the summer entertaining season. These tasty recipes will wow your guests when they drop in for an impromptu visit and glass of wine. Our 2007 Sauvignon Blanc goes just perfectly with summer hors d’oeuvres. Wine, Dine & Race Day at Infineon Raceway, and at the winery
Buckle up and experience the heart-pounding, high-adrenalin thrills of kart racing at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. To begin the day, you will receive classroom instruction on basic race and driving techniques in the multi media theater at the school’s new technology center. You will also learn about physical conditioning, aerodynamics, equipment and other aspects of the sport. For the remainder of the morning you will be on the track to get the feel of your new wheels.
After a trackside lunch, you will put your newly honed racing skills to the test as you sprint around the track at speeds over 60 miles an hour in the karting challenge; in other words, time trials that count!
To conclude an exhilarating day of racing, please join us for a picturesque summer evening reception and Vintner Dinner on the Pecan Patio at Cakebread Cellars. Along with Dennis Cakebread, resident chefs Brian Streeter and Thomas Sixsmith will host a fabulous four-course meal showcasing fine Cakebread Cellars wines.

Cakebread Cellars Wine & Fly-Fishing Days

For any avid fly fisherman, you’ll likely know this river is one of the “Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die.”
Please join Dennis Cakebread and Cakebread Cellars for 3 days of outdoors and fly-fishing bliss at the impressive Henry’s Fork Lodge. The opening night will begin with a casting class and introduction led by Henry’s Fork owner, Nelson Ishiyama. Continuing the first evening, you’ll enjoy a meal together, paired with Cakebread Cellars wines and a guided slideshow of the Henry’s Fork area.
Then, on days two and three of the trip, you’ll have the opportunity to fish some of the finest fly-fishing waters in the country. With one guide per two anglers, it will no doubt be a rewarding and exciting experience. And, each night, Dennis Cakebread will host Vintner Dinners featuring select current releases of fine Cakebread Cellars wines.
